Some kids need to build and move before they are ready to sit at a keyboard. This trial lets them discover robotics with their hands.
In 60 minutes, your child will
- Meet Dash, our classroom robot — durable, friendly, and built for young learners
- Use MakeWonder to give Dash simple commands: move, light up, make sounds, react
- Work with a coach and classmates on a short challenge they can retell at pickup
- Practice listening, taking turns, and trying again when the robot does not do what they expected
Why robotics with Dash and MakeWonder
At K–2, the best STEM moments are physical. Dash turns programming into something kids can see and hear right away. Through MakeWonder visual blocks, your child learns that robots follow clear instructions — and that changing one block changes what happens in the room.
Right for K–2
Coaches stay close. Wins are visible. Your child should leave holding something they programmed — a story they will retell at dinner.
More than a tech class
Love to Code Academy is a character development academy. Every session, students practice teamwork, persistence, and ownership — not just skills. Real tools. Coaches who know your child by name.
What happens after the trial?
If it is a fit, we will recommend the right ongoing class and belt level. If not, you will still leave knowing whether coding or robotics excites your child — with zero pressure to enroll.
Free session. No semester commitment.
At the end of the session, you'll have a quick sit-down chat with a coach to go over how your child did and answer any questions about enrollment options.
Common questions
The VEX GO robotics kept him fully engaged. He'd walk in the door and immediately start explaining what he built that day, what didn't work, what he changed. Would recommend to any parent looking for a coding and robotics program that's actually worth it.
The classes challenged them in the best way and sparked a new love for coding and robotics. I especially loved seeing the confidence they gained as they learned new skills and pushed through challenges.
The staff were so engaged, enthusiastic, and supportive throughout the entire program. My boys absolutely loved going and were always excited to tell me about what they learned that day.
