Own a robot mission end to end — plan, program, debug, and explain.

Robotics Ages 11–13 (6th Grade – 8th Grade)

Nov 09 – Dec 07, 2026

Monday · 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Your child takes responsibility for a complete autonomy mission. Ownership means the project is theirs, mistakes included.

Character focus this sprint

We intentionally practice Ownership, Responsibility alongside every coding and robotics skill.

In four weekly sessions, your child will

  • Design and finish an autonomous challenge over four weeks
  • Own debugging moments without blame
  • Present what they programmed at pickup
  • Reflect on process and pride for the season

Why Robo Explorers

When a student can say “I made the robot do that,” they own both the code and the character work behind it.

Right for 6th–8th

Middle schoolers can handle ambiguity: the robot did not work — now what? Coaches teach process, not just answers. Wins are autonomous behavior and honest debugging.

More than a tech class

Love to Code Academy is a character development academy. Every session, students practice teamwork, persistence, and ownership — not just skills. Small classes. Real tools. Coaches who know your child by name.

One sprint = four instructional sessions. Weeks that contain New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas are skipped for all classes — the sprint extends to the next available week.
