Building and programming rarely succeed on attempt one. This sprint builds persistence: adjust hardware, change the program, and retest.

Character focus this sprint

We intentionally practice Practice, Persistence alongside every coding and robotics skill.

In four weekly sessions, your child will

• Improve a build or program over four weekly sessions
• Debug calmly when motion or sensors surprise the team
• Stay with hard problems longer with coach support
• Cheer for smart iteration as well as perfect runs

Why Bot Builders

Persistence is how builders become engineers. Students learn that practice turns “it broke” into “we fixed it.”

Right for 6th–8th

Build, program, test, and iterate under real constraints. Teamwork and engineering standards matter as much as the finished robot. Wins include process and pride.

Love to Code Academy is a character development academy. Every session, students practice teamwork, persistence, and ownership — not just skills. Small classes. Real tools. Coaches who know your child by name.

One sprint = four instructional sessions. Weeks that contain New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas are skipped for all classes — the sprint extends to the next available week.
