Own a game start to finish — and invite someone else to play it.
Nov 12 – Dec 10, 2026
Thursday · 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Your child manages a small game from first idea to share day — learning that their design choices and follow-through belong to them.
Character focus this sprint
We intentionally practice Ownership, Responsibility alongside every coding and robotics skill.
In four weekly sessions, your child will
- Plan rules, levels, and a player goal — then finish over four weeks
- Own bugs and balancing decisions without blame
- Host a short playtest at pickup with coach support
- Reflect on what players enjoyed and what they would change
Why Game Makers
Ownership turns “I started a game” into “someone else played it.” Game Makers wraps the season with a complete, playable project for independent 3rd–5th creators.
Right for 3rd–5th
Sessions focus on playable games — rules, levels, and the player experience. Coaches guide debugging and polish. Your child should leave thinking someone else can play this.

More than a tech class
Love to Code Academy is a character development academy. Every session, students practice teamwork, persistence, and ownership — not just skills. Small classes. Real tools. Coaches who know your child by name.
One sprint = four instructional sessions. Weeks that contain New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas are skipped for all classes — the sprint extends to the next available week.
